REPAIR**RECOLOR**RESURFACE**REPAIR**RECOLOR**RESURFACE

Nothing should come into contact with your new surface for 24 hours after the coating has been applied, including water.
Initially, you should be gentle with your new surface because it takes one week to completely cure.
No chemicals should be used on the new surface for this week, and no heavy or sharp objects should be dragged across the new finish especially for trhe first week.
The surface should be cleaned prior to scheduling resurfacing.
With adequate ventilation, the fumes from the coating should subside 4 hours after application.
If a member of the household is pregnant or has a serious medical condition relating to the heart or lungs, they should avoid contact with the fumes for 24 hours.
You can start using your new surface 24 hours after work has been completed.

CAUTION
Sharp edges and abrasive objects including knives, steel wool, scouring pads, wire brushes, terra cotta, Tonka toys, pet claws, or similar edges will cause scratches and damage a new surface.
Tools or chemicals of other workers during the first week may cause damage.
Products containing hydrogen peroxide, other strong chemicals, and abrasives will shorten the life of your new surface.
The scrubber side of a sponge will also cause damage over time to the surface. Please read the labels of any cleaner used on a refinished fixture.
Mats with suction cups or adhesives could cause damage to a new surface.
Liquid drain cleaners should only be used after bailing out the standing water and then poured directly into the drain.

OTHER ISSUES
When you clean your new surface, you should use a mild soap, warm water, and a sponge or cloth.
Please be sure all pilot lights are turned off prior to resurfacing, and they should not be re-lit until the fumes have subsided, approximately 4 hours after the job completion.
The specialty coating is very flammable.
Before scheduling the job, please be sure that there are no leaky faucets or other negative variables that will effect the refinishing process.
Faucets and other fixtures will be masked if not removed prior to resurfacing. If planning to replace these fixtures, please have them removed prior to refinishing.
All work is performed with extreme care, however, please be aware that masking tape can compromise wallpaper and/or paint closest to the working area.
Jobs should be scheduled accordingly and this issue should be dealt with in advance.
Please inform anyone who comes in contact with the new surface for the first week that it needs to be used gently until it is fully cured.
No contact with the surface is required for 24 hours.
